Orthodontics

At Rathke Family Dentistry, we are proud to offer quality orthodontic services, including Invisalign in Huntsville.

We have been successfully performing orthodontic treatment for our patients for nearly 35 years!

Comprehensive Orthodontics

Most people associate orthodontics with the process of having your teeth straightened as an adolescent, a process that often takes 12-18 months or possibly longer.  This is the field of comprehensive orthodontics.  These types of cases involve moving all or most of the teeth in the mouth.  As a result, these cases usually take a longer amount of time to complete.

Some cases present with complexities that require treatment by an orthodontic specialist.  After an initial orthodontic evaluation, if it is determined a patient requires treatment by a specialist, an appropriate referral will be made.

Limited Orthodontics

Do you have one crooked tooth that bothers you every time you look in the mirror?  Have your teeth shifted slightly since you finished braces as a teenager?  There's a good chance limited ortho is for you!

Limited ortho is a treatment process that seeks to fix one or several minor orthodontic problems.  These cases are able to be finished in a much shorter amount of time than comprehensive cases and typically cost much less.

Invisalign

Invisalign is a relatively new method in the field of orthodontics.  It allows us to move and straighten the teeth without wires or brackets!  Instead, a series of removable, clear plastic aligners are custom made for your teeth.

Invisalign has two great advantages: enhanced esthetics and improved hygiene.

Invisalign is an exciting way for all patients to experience the health and self-confidence brought about by orthodontic treatment.  We have been successfully treating patients with Invisalign in Huntsville for over 15 years!
